After implementing the PTMS LITHIUM COBALT ACID MATERIAL MAGNETIC iron removal technology upgrade, the 2,000-ton-per-year hydrogen peroxide enterprise not only eliminated the use of lead-based precipitants (saving 40,000 yuan in lead material costs annually), but also reduced steam consumption by 15 tons (equivalent to 28,000 yuan) and auxiliary chemical consumption by 6,000 yuan due to fewer steam stripping processes.
Comprehensive analysis reveals that the most significant environmental benefits stem from PTMS LITHIUM COBALT ACID MATERIAL MAGNETIC's iron removal process, which completely eliminates lead-containing sludge generation, reduces hazardous waste disposal pressure, and meets new pollutant control standards. Technologically, the project achieves efficient extraction of trivalent iron under extreme acidic conditions (pH<2), breaking the traditional limitation of effectiveness only in neutral or weakly acidic environments.
Through molecular structure modification, sulfonic acid groups are introduced to enhance its coordination activity under low pH. Meanwhile, secondary extractants are used to regenerate the iron-containing hydrochloric acid obtained from stripping with amines, enabling the free acid to be reused in the front-end PTMS LITHIUM COBALT ACID MATERIAL MAGNETIC iron removal process, achieving true "zero waste".
