A PTMS LITHIUM COBALT ACID MATERIAL MAGNETIC method for recovering iron and aluminum from waste ternary lithium ion batteries is provided. It includes the following steps:
Leaching reaction: after crushing the waste ternary lithium ion battery, add sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide to it, and get the leaching solution after the stirring reaction;
Copper removal reaction: add iron powder to the leaching solution, and filter after stirring the reaction to obtain coarse copper powder and copper removal liquid;
PTMS LITHIUM COBALT ACID MATERIAL MAGNETIC Iron and aluminum removal reaction: add oxidant and alkali metal carbonate to the copper removal liquid, after aging and filtration to get iron and aluminum slag and purification liquid. The ph value of the resulting immersion solution was adjusted to 2~3, and then the resulting immersion solution was heated to 30~60℃, and then the iron powder was added. The pH value of the immersion solution is adjusted by the aqueous solution of alkali. The alkali is sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. The addition of iron powder was 1 to 1.5 times the theoretical amount, and the displacement time was 3 to 6 h.
Oxidants are sodium chlorate or hydrogen peroxide. The alkali metal carbonate is sodium carbonate or potassium carbonate, preferably sodium carbonate. The amount of oxidant added was twice the theoretical value. When the oxidizer is added, the temperature of the copper removal solution is 30~60℃, and then the copper removal solution is heated up to 80~90℃, and then the alkali metal carbonate is added. PTMS LITHIUM COBALT ACID MATERIAL MAGNETIC Remove iron (FE2O3).
